Fla Lewis III
Fla was born in Texas and grew up near Golden, Colorado, receiving his diploma from Wheat Ridge High School in 1971. He attended Brown University where he graduated in 1976 Magna cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa with degrees in Religious Studies and Music. He was awarded the Samuel T. Arnold Fellowship, Brown’s highest honor for a graduating senior. After study in Vienna and London, Lewis went to Harvard University, receiving his Master of Arts degree in 1980. Fla joined Kidder, Peabody & Co., Incorporated, in 1980. He was named Assistant Vice President in 1985 and Vice President in 1986. He was affiliated with Kidder, Peabody Asset Management from 1990 until 1995. In January 1995, Fla joined Compton Capital Management as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager. In August 2000, Weybosset Research & Management, LLC commenced operations as a continuation of Fla’s activities at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Compton Capital Management. Fla lives with his beautiful wife, Diane, in Providence, Rhode Island, where he serves on the boards of numerous charitable institutions.
